The Job

This Actuarial Analyst II position requires a seasoned professional who can independently apply actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects, serving as a technical subject matter expert on assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models to analyze data and inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders, leveraging data analysis tools and techniques to drive business decisions.
  • Create training materials and instructions for actuarial tools and processes, ensuring seamless adoption by team members.
  • Proactively resolve technical issues, escalating concerns as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of Actuarial or analytical business experience.
  • 3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing analysis queries and procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analysis software.
