Role Overview:
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Consultant at BLE, you will be integral to the advancement of our Geostructures Group. Your role will involve:
- Providing expert guidance to our long-term clients.

- Building and maintaining professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Your daily tasks will include:
- Overseeing technical aspects, project management, and client relations within the Geostructures Group.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Establishing strategic partnerships with stakeholders in both public and private sectors.
- Facilitating internal training sessions to promote knowledge sharing.
- Reviewing proposals and engaging in business development initiatives.
- Ensuring the quality of written reports and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Exploring new technologies to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Carolina or North Carolina, with the ability to obtain licensure in additional Southeastern states.
- In-depth knowledge of geotechnical design and construction practices.
- The willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings and client engagements.
