Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Shearers, a leading manufacturer of snacks. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and machinery
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Electromechanical Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to high temperatures, fumes, and loud noise levels. The successful candidate will be able to work a variable schedule, including night shifts and weekends.
