Job Summary:

To perform licensed A&P Mechanic work, including repairs, maintenance, overhaul, modifications, and troubleshooting, on Textron Aviation aircraft at our state-of-the-art service center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and Maintenance: Performs assembly, disassembly, and repairs required in the completion of airframe overhaul, repair, or modifications, including but not limited to removal, replacement, and repair of parts of engines, airframes, and systems.
  • Equipment Setup and Tear Down: Responsible for forming A&P maintenance as well as assisting other licensed mechanics with setup and tear down of equipment, tools, and supplies used during the repair of customers' aircraft.
  • Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Uses equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
  • Aircraft Movement: Required to tow and move aircraft during the performance of maintenance duties.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Assists in the cleaning of parts and components during the repair and assembly of aircraft.
  • Additional Tasks: Performs other tasks and duties associated with the service center operation.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school education or equivalent required.
  • Licensure: A&P License is required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Requires use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles. Must have knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Experience: Experience on mechanical repair of vehicles, preferably aircraft – through technical training, apprenticeship, schooling, or similar experience is preferred.

This role is eligible for up to a $15,000 (pre-tax) sign-on bonus based on level of experience. Terms & conditions apply. The Company reserves the right to amend or suspend this program at any time.

Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range for this position is $36.05 per hour.
