Job Summary

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities and Grounds to oversee the effective operation of its buildings and grounds. This is a full-time, salaried position responsible for leading and managing all facility-related activities, including maintenance, engineering, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 10 full-time operating engineers
  • Interface with third-party property management firms and engineering services
  • Oversee maintenance, engineering, and code compliance across the Trust's real estate portfolio
  • Develop and implement effective operating procedures
  • Manage and direct the performance of the facilities team
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10 years' work experience in comparable positions
  • 3-5 years' experience managing large complex building or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, industry standard safety requirements, and local City and County ordinances, codes, and permitting
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field
