As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transition to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across various programs and departments within Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive models, including hardware and software architectures, use cases, behavioral models, and mission simulations, to support the Navy's transition to MBSE.
  • Apply MBSE methodologies to both new and legacy systems, ensuring models meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.
  • Communicate the benefits of MBSE to diverse audiences, including non-technical decision-makers, and work seamlessly with government customers to define and execute MBSE strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of applicable industry experience, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Working knowledge of SysML and its 9 diagrams, with experience building all 9 SysML diagrams.
  • Experience implementing MBSE on new or legacy systems, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate the process of creating models for legacy and new systems, with experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification.
  • INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
  • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or other comparable system modeling tool.
  • Active Department of Defense security clearance.
