Unit Manager LPN Job Description

At St. Anthony Healthcare and Rehab Center - Clovis, NM, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager LPN to join our team. As a Unit Manager LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide safe patient care.
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Identify educational needs of staff and develop training programs to address these needs, ensuring continuous learning and growth.
  • Oversee medication management, ensuring adequate supplies and adherence to company policy.
  • Provide direct patient care, maintaining skills and expertise to deliver exceptional care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
  • At least one year of nurse management experience.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
