About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for labor patients before, during, and after delivery
  • Care for newborns immediately after delivery
  • Circulate and recover caesarean sections
  • Identify and communicate complications to physicians
  • Maintain high levels of quality, service, and critical nursing skills
Requirements
  • Current California RN license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
  • 1 year recent L&D experience
