International Tax Manager

Job Summary:

The Sr. International Tax Manager will be responsible for a wide breadth of responsibilities for both foreign and domestic tax concerns. They will be fully accountable and committed to optimizing the Company's tax positions and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve Federal and State tax returns and extensions for Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA and all U.S. domestic subsidiaries.
  • Review quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations for all Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA foreign subsidiaries, as prepared by outside local tax advisors.
  • Communicate with taxing authorities, external auditors, internal Tax and finance department contacts, and senior personnel throughout the organization in support of ongoing tax processes and procedures.
  • Prepare estimated Federal and State payment calculations for Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA and all U.S. domestic subsidiaries.
  • Ensure all non-US tax filings related to foreign operations are complete, accurate and filed timely.
  • Responsible for reviews of legislative developments and the impact on Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA's tax planning, filing and provision.
  • Provide strong leadership in recruiting, training, and developing high-performing financial talent to ensure a productive finance organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required. Masters degree in Taxation preferred.
  • CPA license required.
  • 10+ years in a combination of private industry and public accounting corporate income tax department, including supervision and management of direct reports.
  • 5+ years in an International Corporate Tax and/or accounting firm advising global business experience.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required. Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Pay:

$115,600 to $216,170
