About the Role
Mission Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Mission Pardee Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including diagnostic, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including diagnostic, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilizing patients as needed.
- Operate complex imaging equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist physicians with procedures and provide support as needed.
- Continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program.
- ARRT registered and hold post-primary certification in a minimum of one additional qualifying discipline.
- Previous experience in a multi-disciplined radiology department.
- Preferred experience: two years previous experience in an advanced discipline.
