About the Role

This exciting full-time opportunity will provide you with the chance to work collaboratively with a dynamic team of professionals, including speech-language pathologists, educators, and other specialists. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Therapy Implementation: Work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs.
  • Conduct Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions with individual and small groups of students, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate records of student progress, monitoring their development and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Develop Treatment Materials: Assist in the creation of treatment materials and activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
Requirements
  • Oklahoma State Licensure: Possess an active Oklahoma State licensure/certification as an SLPA or equivalent.
  • Associate's Degree: Hold an Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
