Job Overview:

At H&R Block, we're looking for a skilled Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional client service and ensuring accurate tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools, such as video, phone, chat, and email.
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
  • Provide clients with IRS support.
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Grow your tax expertise.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, such as video, phone, and chat.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
  • Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
