This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled Cybersecurity and Network Administrator to support our Government customer at Washington, DC. This role requires experience in systems administration and/or network (LAN/WAN) administration/support.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to fill this position. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience in systems administration and/or network (LAN/WAN) administration/support. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mainframe support services for the hybrid operational environment (on-premises and cloud).

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Network Support: Install, configure, and support HUD's local area network (LAN) for the Headquarter office and HUD Regional, Field and Satellite offices.
  • Mainframe Support: Provide mainframe support services for the hybrid operational environment (on-premises and cloud).
  • System Administration and Virtualization: Responsible for the integration, deployment, operations, and maintenance of all servers (Windows and Linux) and any virtualization platforms (VMware) within the hybrid operational environment (cloud and on-premises).

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 0-5 years of experience in systems administration and/or network (LAN/WAN) administration/support.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of Windows, Linuz, and macOS environments; Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms; Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
  • Work Environment and Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
