Position Summary
The Registered Nurse for AACH is responsible for delivering patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. You will effectively interact with patients and other healthcare team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. At AACH, we deliver superb healthcare in a compassionate manner, are committed to excellence, and empowered to streamline and improve operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effective problem-solving abilities when utilizing the nursing process within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care, establish priorities, and delegate nursing activities according to patient needs and staff scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adjust workload or duties in response to a change in work volume, emergencies, staffing, or scheduling.

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
* 1 year of acute care experience; required
* Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care experience, preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
* RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start.
* BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
Preferred Certifications:
* CEN: Certified Emergency Nurse.
* CPEN: Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse.
