Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Associate I to join our team at Turning Point Community Programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in need of mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members in achieving their goals and maintaining wellness while living in the community.
  • Provide support in areas of medication management, transportation, counseling, and advocacy as needed.
  • Empower members to make informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment.
  • Model behaviors and engage clients in using recovery language targeted towards development of meaningful roles.
  • Assist staff and members in the development and implementation of activities, programming, and groups.
  • Transport members and other passengers to and from appointments and activities using personal vehicle.
  • Complete intake process with new admissions.
  • Provide prompt intervention in the event of a crisis.
  • Perform client head count hourly.
  • Attend to the health, safety, and well-being of members.
  • Complete paperwork as assigned in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than two years of experience providing direct mental health services preferred.
  • California driver's license and current vehicle insurance/registration required.
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection required.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $22.29 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Our team is committed to providing innovative and high-quality services that promote recovery, independence, and self-sufficiency.
