Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary

Greenbriar Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their communication and swallowing goals.

About the Role

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients/residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and make recommendations for patient care.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and in a rehabilitation setting.
