Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Histotechnologist to join our team at V R Della Infotech Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing slides for histologic and cytologic diagnosis, performing routine and special stains, and maintaining records and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare slides for histologic and cytologic diagnosis using paraffin, frozen section, microtomy, cytospin, and other techniques.
  • Perform routine and special stains, and histochemical procedures.
  • Maintain records and quality control, including accession logs, workload, and slide and block files.
  • Assist the Pathologist with autopsies and gross descriptions on surgical specimens.
  • Perform all histology procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner, according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Histotechnology Certificate Program or equivalent experience.
  • Credential(s): Certified Histotechnician (HT) or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a histopathology laboratory.
