Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team at Jobot. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects by inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are in proper working order and meet all local and national fire codes.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, noting any deficiencies or malfunctions and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on fire sprinkler systems, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed.
  • Liaise with construction teams, project managers, and regulatory authorities to ensure all fire safety measures are in place and up to date.
  • Stay abreast of current fire safety regulations and advancements in fire suppression technology.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction teams on fire safety best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection or a related role in the industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of sprinkler systems and fire suppression systems.
  • Possession of a valid Fire Sprinkler License.
  • NICET Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology – Water-Based Systems Layout or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of local and national fire codes and the ability to apply them to practical scenarios.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging conditions.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance in all aspects of the role.
