About the Role

This leadership position is a key part of our departmental team, responsible for providing clinical supervision on a shift basis. Key responsibilities include coordination and assignment of patient care, serving as a unit patient flow coordinator, and facilitating admissions, discharges, and transfers.

As a Charge Nurse in our PreOp / PACU department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit. Your supervisory input will be invaluable in department staff evaluations and performance reviews. Completing established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period is also essential.

With 36 hours per week and a 12-hour shift, this full-time position offers a great work-life balance. You will be employed as a Staff member and will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals. Requirements and Qualifications

Location and Salary

Located in New Braunfels, Texas, this position offers a competitive salary of $75,000 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in the area. The estimated salary range is $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
