Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Automation Systems Engineer to design, develop, implement, and sustain automation solutions and advanced Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with control programming, robotics, equipment integration with business systems, HMI programming, and machine vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with factory stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy manufacturing automation systems and digital solutions.
  • Continuous improvement, upgrades, and sustainment of deployed automation systems (ex. automation mechanisms, controls, robotics, autonomous vehicles)
  • Full project lifecycle control - from requirements generation through execution & sustainment
  • Program front end visualizations in Ignition to enable data driven decisions that dictate actionable changes & priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, software development, and/or automation engineering; or 5+ years (including relevant internships) applicable experience with an advanced STEM degree
  • Rockwell PLC experience
  • Fanuc Robotics experience
  • Experience with automation mechanisms, controls, robotics, and/or vision systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
