Position Summary:
Xanitos is seeking dedicated full-time Environmental Services Technicians. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities may vary based on client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Perform sweeping and vacuuming of floors.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and door panels.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.
  • Assist in transporting small equipment or tools between departments.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is granted. Experience in janitorial services is preferred, particularly in medical environments.
  • Successful completion of medical, background screening, and drug testing is required.
  • FLU vaccine is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs is necessary. Close vision, distance vision, and depth perception are essential, with or without corrective lenses. Exposure to chemicals may require special clothing or safety equipment.

Work Environment:
Employees may encounter fumes or airborne particles and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet, allowing for a focused work atmosphere.
