Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team at fréijé Engineered Solutions Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, startup new equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing various commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair HVAC/R equipment
  • Document work performed and submit on a smart device (IPAD or phone)
  • Assist with providing information to quote various repair work
  • Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and repair parts
  • Explain HVAC issues and recommendations for repairs with customers
  • Adhere to all safety procedures

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HVAC/R Service Technician experience
  • EPA certification (Type I & II) minimum
  • High level of safety and security required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with others to complete tasks
  • Understanding and broad knowledge of tools, safety, and electronic equipment within this trade
  • Must be punctual, adhere to daily schedule, and able to handle schedule changes
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, use ladders, and aerial lifts
  • Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
