Responds promptly to urgent requests from equipment users to assess reported issues, determining the most suitable personnel to address the identified problems, utilizing in-house clinical engineering resources.
Ensures monitoring devices are functioning correctly (including EKG machines, CO2 monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximeters).Treats all clients with empathy and respect.
Explores avenues to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintains strict patient confidentiality at all times.
Adheres to infection control policies and procedures by demonstrating proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques.
Follows protocols for the safe disposal of contaminated materials.
Inspects and tests anesthesia machines for cleanliness, damage, and the availability of necessary accessories. Cleans hoses and ventilator filters.
Verifies anesthesia machines for readiness and performs routine operational checks.
CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE: Identifies equipment malfunctions and executes corrective maintenance on anesthesia clinical devices, instruments, and systems.
Records all actions and test outcomes in accordance with departmental policies.
Assists external vendors in delivering anesthesia repair services and reviews their service reports to ensure accurate documentation and verification of charges.
Recognizes malfunctioning components and determines the optimal source for acquiring necessary parts, considering both financial and time constraints.
