Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Preventative Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is on the preventative maintenance program, schedules are valid, thorough, and completed according to the system schedule.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to other departments regarding process and/or equipment changes.
- Inventory Management: Manage spare parts, material, and inventories.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years professional maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and schematics; strong knowledge of electromechanical codes, standards, and safety practices; strong attention to detail and commitment to the highest quality workmanship; physical stamina to work in various positions for extended periods.
- Physical Demands: Some physical demand. Often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Environmental Conditions: May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection must be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
