Position Overview: This role is pivotal in supporting the financial oversight of our Consulting Line of Business. The selected candidate will collaborate with Finance and business leaders to manage financial statements, general ledgers, financial analyses, and various management reports for the Consulting service lines. Additionally, they will work alongside Finance leaders and service lines to formulate forecasts for FTE, revenue, margins, and operating expenses that align with the firm’s financial principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver financial insights to the Consulting Finance Leader, Business Leaders, and their teams, focusing on metrics such as revenue, rates, FTEs, and productivity. Prepare and coordinate ad hoc reports and specialized analyses as required by leadership.
  • Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to financial analysts. Advise service line or finance leaders on strategies to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Assist finance leaders and service line heads in developing revenue, FTE, and operating expense forecasts that align with established firmwide objectives. Analyze monthly financial outcomes and provide insights to leadership.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee the accounting processes for supported service lines, including monthly close activities, journal entry reviews, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and firm policies.
  • Employee Development: Lead data analysts by offering direction, performance feedback, and support for career advancement.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including P&L and balance sheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Workday, and Adaptive.
