MedSide Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional in-home care services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering comprehensive physical therapy modalities to patients in their place of residence, with the goal of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, to patients in their homes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Current PT licensure in the state of Georgia, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience in Home Health preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

The Physical Therapist will work in a home health setting, with a defined territory of a 70-mile radius from and back to their home on any work day. If the Therapist has to drive more than 70 miles round trip, the difference will be reimbursed as a bonus of twice the mileage rate.
