Shredding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shredding Specialist to join our team at VRC Companies. As a Shredding Specialist, you will be responsible for performing onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile-based shredding equipment.

• Document Destruction: Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile-based shredding equipment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner, showing proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment.
• Customer Service: Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Safety and Maintenance: Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Paperwork and Record-Keeping: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, as required by company policy.

• Time Management: Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform duties of the position.
• Adaptability: Accept change in directions, understanding customer needs may change.
• Productivity and Quality: Meet department productivity and quality standards.
• Teamwork: Work in a team environment and as an individual contributor, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Physical Demands: Move records from one location to another, utilizing all company security measures.
• Background Check: Pass a background check and have a valid Driver's License.
• DOT Certification: Pass a DOT physical and DOT certification.
