Job Title: Physical Therapist - Long Term Care Specialist

At the Good Samaritan Society, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to seniors in a Christian environment. We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Luverne, MN.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of clients to identify their physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Administer physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretches, and other treatments
  • Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
