We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector III to join our Quality Inspection Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine to advanced clerical, filing, and inspection duties. Your expertise will be utilized to inspect complex manufactured parts for conformance to print and specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, and optical inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Operate basic to complex inspection measurement equipment, including CMM, microscopes, and coordinate measurement equipment.
  • Work from engineering drawings, internal and external specifications, quality assurance standards, and test procedures to determine acceptance of product.
  • Participate in continuous improvement teams to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in supporting customer onsite audits and maintain the highest ethical and quality standards.
  • Document quality records, first article and dimensional reports, and job status using computers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of mechanical inspection experience.
  • Two-year technical degree or Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI) preferred.
  • Certified Green Belt (CSSGB) or Quality Inspector (CQI) a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal instruction.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics, blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, and SPC.
