Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our medical team at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. As a Musculoskeletal Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized adult and pediatric diagnostic imaging services focused on the musculoskeletal system within an academic medical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and report on musculoskeletal imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound examinations.
  • Prepare detailed and comprehensive diagnostic reports based on your interpretations of musculoskeletal imaging studies.
  • Collaborate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings, provide consultation, and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal abnormalities.
  • Perform image-guided interventions and procedures, such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies under imaging guidance such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, or CT.
  • Engage in academic and research activities related to musculoskeletal radiology, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field through participation in research projects, publications, and presentations.
Requirements
  • MD or DO Degree required.
  • ABR certification or eligibility.
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina required.
