Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

At HexaQuEST Health, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams using CT scanners and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex diagnostic exams in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in sequence of exposure.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
Requirements:
- Completion of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology plus completion of an accredited CT program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT certification within 18 months of employment.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to Radiologic exams.
Working Conditions:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with weights of more than 100 pounds.
