We are seeking a passionate and creative educator to join our team in Passaic, NJ on a part-time basis for the school year or year round, depending on candidate preference. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
  • Provide individualized assistance to students
  • Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
  • Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
  • Maintain accurate attendance and session reports

Requirements:

  • B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
  • NJ Standard Teaching Certification
  • Comfortable working with adolescents aged 13-17
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
  • Reliable Transportation
