About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Truck Driver Trainee to join our team in a Distribution and Logistics role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to kick-start their trucking career.

As a Truck Driver Trainee, you will have the chance to train for your Class-A CDL and learn how to safely operate a tractor-trailer. You will be responsible for unloading and delivering various products to assigned routes on schedule.

Main Responsibilities
  • Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart and place it in designated customer storage areas.
  • Transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions.
  • Bend and twist constantly while loading and unloading product and retrieving items from the trailer.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities following DOT regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • You must be at least 21 years old.
  • You must obtain a valid CDL permit and DOT medical certification prior to the pre-employment background check.
  • You must submit to and pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check).
  • You must obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of your start date to remain actively employed.
  • You must have one year of Distribution/Warehouse experience or other military experience in lieu of.
Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overtime hours, working weekends, and holidays, as well as starting and ending work at various times.
