Job Title: Chemistry Adjunct Professor

Job Summary:

Dominican University New York seeks a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach introductory, undergraduate laboratory-based courses in Chemistry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research in Chemistry.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach General Chemistry, Introductory Biochemistry, and/or Organic Chemistry courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve course curriculum and pedagogy.

Requirements:

  • Terminal or advanced degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Professional experience in teaching and research.
  • College teaching and clinical experience preferred.

Compensation:

$2,760/course (lecture only); $4,600 (lecture and lab)
