Position Overview:

This role involves a variety of tasks related to the assembly of transformers and associated components.


Key Responsibilities:

• Execute mechanical tasks essential for transformer assembly, including tanking and wiring.


• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and written guidelines.


• Utilize various electrical testing devices to assess control wiring functionality.


• Capable of lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.


• Perform work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding as required.


• Work efficiently in elevated areas and confined spaces.


• Operate tools such as saws, grinders, and drill presses with safety and precision.


• Layout, cut, thread, and bend conduit as necessary.


• Conduct soldering, brazing, and aluminum welding, and successfully complete certification testing.


• Training will be provided for the operation of forklifts and cranes.


• Follow and execute verbal instructions from supervisors or designated personnel.


• Adhere to company standards regarding safety, quality, and productivity.


• Must possess personal tools required for the job.


Qualifications:

• Proficient in the safe operation of power tools.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and comprehend technical documentation.

• Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately read a tape measure and take precise measurements.


Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $21.
