Data Scientist and Digital Transformation Expert

Estimated Salary Range$120,000 - $130,000 in Los Angeles, $140,000 - $150,000 in San Jose and San Francisco (plus bonuses and benefits)
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will bring crucial leadership and capability into our Design Technology team. You will collaborate with data scientists to develop, train, and deploy machine learning classification algorithms using continuous data flows from design authoring tools.
You will leverage trained data models to explore trends and define insights aligned with business and client needs. Additionally, you will define and develop data pipelines in MS Azure to deliver data and insights via web APIs into data visualization platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Data team to develop, train, and deploy ML classification algorithms
- Leveraging outcomes of trained data models to explore trends and define insights
- Defining and developing data pipelines in MS Azure
- Collaborating with studio colleagues on strategies for driving insights back into early stages of the design process
- Researching opportunities and implementing integration and correlation of additional datasets
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or Computer Science, along with equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of strong practical experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and/or predictive modeling (AEC industry experience a plus)
- Ability to work in a highly creative environment and collaborate on solutions to complex problems
- Track record of staying current with best practices and new technology solutions
