St. James Hospital is seeking a motivated and independent APP to join our Hospital Based Medicine Practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work collaboratively with attending physicians to provide direct care for adult medical patients. Responsibilities include admission workups, daily management of patients, and discharge planning. The APP will also participate in educational conferences, student precepting, and support of unit-based nurses and leadership. Requirements include a Master's or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner specialty area, certification as a Nurse Practitioner with certifications in Acute Care, Adult Health, or Family Health, and ACLS and BLS certifications. Experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred but not required. The salary range is $98,008 - $129,910 per year.
