Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Homeschool Advisory Teacher to join our team at Alaska Teacher Placement. As a Homeschool Advisory Teacher, you will work directly with parents and students to design and implement quality educational programs that meet the needs of homeschool students in compliance with district policy and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs for homeschool students
  • Collaborate with parents and students to identify learning goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and students in implementing educational programs
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Alaska Type T teaching certificate
  • Minimum of three years teaching experience
  • Homeschool experience preferred
  • Math background preferred
