bJob Title:/b Escrow AssistantbrbrbJob Summary:/bbrbrWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our team at SummitHR. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Escrow Officer in preparing files for closing, sending title commitments, and assisting clients with incoming calls and in-office inquiries.brbrbResponsibilities:/bbrbr- Send title commitments, cure title, review surveys, prepare preliminary CDs, and assist clients on incoming calls and in-office.brbr- Work in a paperless office with a high volume and fast-paced environment. Experience in Ramquest, Outlook, FileScan, and Dashboard is a plus.brbr- Assist the Escrow Officer in preparing files for closing.brbr- Order title work, taxes, HOA documents, payoffs, and any documentation needed for the file.brbr- Receive contracts and deposit earnest money.brbr- Set up new files.brbr- Send out title commitments, taxes, and wiring instructions to lenders, agents, and buyers and sellers.brbr- Answer phone calls and emails when the Escrow Officer is not available.brbr- Assist in helping the Escrow Officer with returning calls and emails.brbr- Promptly notify the marketing representative for contract pickups.brbr- Fund and ship files after closing.brbr- Prepare policies after closing.brbr- Assist marketing with projects as needed (mail outs, etc.).brbr- Consistently be on time for work each day and have dependable, consistent attendance.brbr- Perform escrow tasks on the company's RamQuest system (training provided).brbr- Be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the Company.brbr- Regular, consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events.brbr- Ability to accept supervision.brbr- Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.brbr- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers by email, phone, and in person.brbr- Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by the supervisor.brbrbRequirements:/bbrbr- Experience in customer service, clerical, or administrative support work.brbr- Maintain a courteous, business-like composure, use a pleasant voice, mannerisms, and greeting when answering the telephone and greeting customers.brbr- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.brbr- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.brbr- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.brbr- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.brbr- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.brbrbPhysical and Mental Demands:/bbrbr- Must have a professional appearance and good customer service skills, including conversing with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and customers.brbr- Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.brbr- Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by the supervisor.brbr- Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.brbr- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting a majority of the time. Walking and standing are required, occasionally.
