As a machine and plant operator at Apex Solutions, you will be responsible for operating complex high-tech production equipment and demonstrating your technical skills on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, commission, and operate manufacturing machines
  • Respond to machine downtime with technical expertise, minimizing downtime
  • Perform regular maintenance on various machines, including tasks such as refilling oils or coolants, and replacing worn parts

You will work in a team environment and thrive on new challenges. Good grades in math and physics are required, as well as the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Career Path

After completing the apprenticeship, there is the possibility of a third year of training to become a packaging technologist. Other potential career paths include becoming an industrial foreman in paper processing or a paper technologist.
