Job Summary

The Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist III to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for administering a component of the department and program functions, providing direct patient care, maintaining documentation relative to services offered, and participating in intra-and interdisciplinary training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop models for service delivery and evaluation
Plan and conduct research activities
Review and interpret literature and disseminate findings through formal and informal presentations

Qualifications

Must have approved, documented evidence of an advanced proficiency in an area of clinical/research specialization
Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation is required
Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups

Education and Experience

Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, with related clinical requirements
Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Eligibility for Maryland State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
Must have four years' experience in Speech Language Pathology, including at least three years in a documented specialty area
