Pay Range: $25.00/Hour to $30.00/Hour on W2

This is a full-time contingent position, starting at 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours, and may require floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends.

Job Summary

LanceSoft is seeking a skilled LVN/LPN to join our team in a full-time contingent position. As a Clinical Care Professional, you will provide holistic, evidenced-based care to our patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Assess patients during intake.
  • Take vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening.
  • Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing).
  • Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room.
Licensure/Certifications

The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Education

The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
