About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Brookdale Tracy. As a Medication Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering and managing medications in accordance with state regulations and healthcare provider instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
  • Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
  • Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
Requirements
  • Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will be responsible for administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments.
  • Certified Medication Aides/Techs will ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
