Mayo Clinic is a world-renowned healthcare organization that values innovation, diversity, and inclusion. As a Histology Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by preparing specimens for processing and analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and verify patient specimens
  • Track specimens without a requisition
  • Accession wet tissue specimens, outside/consultation material, and cytology specimens
  • Compile work logs and print slides
  • Perform gross examination of surgical biopsies and embedding tissue blocks
  • Assist in other areas as directed
Requirements:
  • Associate of Science degree in histology, biology, or a related field
  • Four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and regular access to a personal vehicle
