Job Description

The pediatric ambulatory RN is accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes using the model of care designed by the nursing department and in accordance with established agency policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and their families across the health care continuum.
  • Practice in compliance with hospital policy, procedures, and protocols, and in accordance with the providers' plan of care.
  • Acts and serves as a patient and family advocate, establishing trust and building therapeutically effective relationships with patients and families.
Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of inpatient pediatric experience and 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory clinic/outpatient or diagnostic testing settings. You should have a strong understanding of population health and relevant clinical experience.

You must have a nursing degree (Diploma, ASN, or BSN) and be registered and currently licensed in the state of MA in good standing. Basic computer proficiency, effective interpersonal skills, and organizational skills are also essential for this role.
