Position Overview

QinetiQ is in search of a Senior Level multi-disciplinary Security Specialist to assist our client at the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (USD(I&S)). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering routine security support functions throughout the USD I&S enterprise. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Identify and address security incidents while formulating response strategies.
  • Act as the program security officer for specialized program support within a SCIF environment.
  • Collaborate with the OUSD(I&S) Special Access Program Central Office, Special Security Office, Joint Staff, and Military Services security offices for guidance and resolution of security-related matters.
  • Oversee personnel clearance verifications and visitor requests, providing necessary security briefings.
  • Initiate PARS and conduct access briefings.
  • Facilitate access to Alternate Compensatory Control Measures.
  • Maintain and update classified access management systems.
  • Coordinate equipment, communication, and IT needs within the SCIF.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for special access programs and SCI data; identify and report vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to testing, training, and operational activities; manage action items in CATMS and JSAP.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior experience with JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATMS, and JSAP.
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility is mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to engage actively with colleagues, program leadership, and clients, including delivering presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with OSD, Pentagon, or Service Headquarters staff.
  • Military background is advantageous.
