Athletic Trainer Opportunity

We are seeking a certified athletic trainer to join our team at Go4Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to a secondary school, including injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, and rehabilitation of injured athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive sports medicine program for the school, including injury prevention initiatives and concussion management.
  • Provide athletic training services for the school athletic department, including attendance at team practices and competitions.
  • Collaborate with the team physician to review pre-participation physical examinations and coordinate medical referrals for student-athletes.
  • Manage the athletic training room, including inventory and budgetary responsibilities.
  • Assist the athletic director with safety and medical concerns for athletic events and emergency action planning.

Requirements:

  • Board of Certification required, FL state licensure.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an athletic trainer preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $46.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 30-40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
