Job Overview:

About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Java developer with in-depth hands-on development experience to work on new enterprise application projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing the API layer for our new applications.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, a curiosity to solve problems in innovative ways, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and partnership across various team members. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Defining customer experience by working closely with business analysts, UX designers, and business teams.
  • Collaborating with UI and UX team members during screen creation and wireframing.
  • Identifying ways to improve customer experience through a phased approach.
  • Using data and prototypes to test concepts and theories.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java/J2EE, SOA, and cloud-based enterprise web applications.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud-based applications and application deployment.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard application architectures, design patterns, and technology standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Agile development methodology.
  • Self-organization and ability to work under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
  • Clear communication and ability to curate information for various audiences.
  • Deep experience in designing and developing highly scalable, highly available, and maintainable internet applications.
  • Ability to learn and stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Skills:
We're looking for candidates with extensive knowledge of application development using core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot framework. Experience with microservices, web services, RESTful interfaces, relational databases, noSQL databases, Tomcat servers, Agile tools, Maven, Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Shell scripting is also a plus.

Estimated Salary Range:
$140,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
