Department Overview
We invite experienced RNs to join our Solutions By Sanford team.
We seek Registered Nurses with a minimum of two years of nursing experience and at least one year of travel nursing experience. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the job location. Weekly pay includes your stipend, and you will also be eligible for comprehensive Sanford Benefits. Contracts are for 13 weeks, with options to extend or transfer to another Sanford facility.
Role Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized nursing care to patients. This role involves collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and assess care.
The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards as required in their clinical setting.
Responsibilities include caring for patients throughout all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as they navigate the continuum of care. The RN will be accountable for planning and coordinating care, conducting patient assessments, providing education, triaging, and performing various nursing interventions.
Functions will align with the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules relevant to the state of practice and licensure.
The Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation for nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, including, but not limited to, institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
Must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
