Job Overview
We have an opening for a Principal Engineering Reliability Expert to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. This requisition can be filled as a level 3 Principal Systems Engineer or a level 4 Sr. Principal Systems Engineer. Additionally, this position is contingent upon capturing program award, acquiring customer funding, and obtaining necessary clearances prior to start date.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Leading reliability support to the design team through the performance of design tradeoffs, reliability failure rate/MTBF predictions, de-rating analysis, allocation of reliability requirements, performing failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and identify fault modes and responses
  • Performing various reliability related tasks including reliability failure rate/MTBF predictions and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Utilizing industry tools to conduct Reliability analysis
  • Developing technical solutions to potential reliability and availability problems

Benefits and Salary:$150,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
